These terms apply to everyone who uses the app, in particular its course chats and direct messages. How we handle personal data is explained in our privacy policy.
Your account and minimum age
You must be at least 16 years old to use the app. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian must agree. You confirm your age when you register, or the first time you sign in to an account created for you.
You accept these terms when you register or, if your account was created earlier or on your behalf, before your first post or voice message in a chat.
Please use accurate details, keep your password to yourself and don’t let anyone else use your account. Each account is for one person.
Courses and access
The first lesson is open to everyone after registering. Full access to a course comes with a program; see Prices. Kristina can also grant access herself, for example to participants of her other courses. The Android app contains no purchases.
Programs and ordering
Programs are sold by MANIFESTA WW, Kristina Čulić Gajić s.p. (see section 1), from 1 January 2027, in the web app at app.wondergerman.co. You must be at least 18 years old to order.
- Self-Study: the B2.2 online course in the app.
- Premium: the course plus 12 one-to-one lessons with Kristina by video (Zoom), 45 minutes each, booked in the app.
- Upgrade: from Self-Study to Premium, for the upgrade price.
To order, you select a program, confirm that you are 18 or older, give the consents described in our withdrawal information, and choose PayPal or bank transfer. With PayPal, the PayPal window only authorises the payment; your binding order is placed with the button “Place order with obligation to pay” in the app. With bank transfer, your order is likewise binding when you press this button, and you then receive the transfer details and a payment reference. You receive an order confirmation and invoice by email, with these terms and the withdrawal information attached as a PDF.
Prices, payment and access
The prices shown on our pricing page and in the app apply. They are the same in every country and include VAT where applicable. All prices and payments are in euros.
Your access is unlocked as soon as your payment is received: with PayPal immediately, with a bank transfer when the money arrives, usually within 1-3 business days. If a bank-transfer order is not paid within 14 days, we may cancel it.
Access period and discontinuation of the service
1. Access to the digital course content is in principle granted to the customer for as long as the platform is operated.
2. Independently of this, the seller guarantees the customer a minimum access period of 24 months from the conclusion of the contract.
3. The seller reserves the right to discontinue operation of the platform, and thus access to the content, after the guaranteed minimum access period of 24 months has expired, for an important business, technical or personal reason.
4. Such a complete discontinuation of the platform will be announced to the customer at least 3 months in advance, by email to the address stored in the customer account.
One-to-one lessons
Premium and the upgrade include 12 one-to-one lessons with Kristina via Zoom, 45 minutes each. Lessons are booked in the app at least 24 hours in advance and can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before. Lessons cancelled later, and lessons missed, count as used.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal. For the course, it ends once your access begins, because you expressly agree to this at checkout; for the one-to-one lessons, you can withdraw until all lessons have been given. All details, and the model withdrawal form, are in our withdrawal information.
The lesson portion is the difference between the Premium price and the Self-Study price at the time of purchase (for the upgrade: the upgrade’s price). In the event of an early withdrawal, one twelfth of the lesson portion is deducted from the refund amount for each scheduled or completed 1:1 lesson, capped at the full lesson portion. If a discount was applied, the lesson portion and the rate per lesson are reduced in the same proportion as the price. Example: with a Premium price of €799 and a Self-Study price of €99, the lesson portion is €700 and the deduction is €58.33 per lesson.
After an early withdrawal from the lessons, access to the course continues as Self-Study. Any other refund ends access to the refunded program, and so does a chargeback.
Discount codes
Only one discount code can be used per order. Codes cannot be combined, have no cash value and apply under the conditions stated with the code.
Updates to the course
We reserve the right to continuously update, modify, and improve the digital content to enhance pedagogical quality, update the curriculum, or adapt to technical developments, provided such changes do not incur additional costs for the user.
Community rules
The course chats are a shared learning space. Please be respectful and helpful; mistakes are part of learning. The following are not allowed in group chats, direct messages, display names or uploads:
- harassment, insults, threats or bullying;
- hate speech or discrimination, for example because of origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation or disability;
- sexual or pornographic content, and content showing violence;
- spam, advertising and chain messages;
- illegal content, including content that infringes other people’s copyright;
- sharing other people’s personal data, such as photos, phone numbers or addresses, without their consent;
- pretending to be someone else.
Messages in a course’s group chat are visible to everyone with access to that course.
Reporting
You can report:
- a group-chat message or a direct message: long-press it and choose Melden (Report);
- a person: tap their name in the chat, or use the menu in a direct conversation, and choose Person melden (Report person).
Then pick a reason: Belästigung oder Beleidigung (harassment or insults), Unangemessener Inhalt (inappropriate content), Spam or Sonstiges (other).
Only Kristina can read reports. She is notified straight away and either deletes the reported message, which then shows as “Nachricht gelöscht” for everyone and has any attached file deleted, or dismisses the report. Once she has dealt with it, the report is deleted; reports about the same message are closed together. If a direct message is reported, she sees only that one message, never the rest of the conversation.
Blocking
You can block another student: tap their name in the chat, or use the menu in a direct conversation. Then:
- their group-chat messages are hidden from you, and you are no longer notified about them. The messages are not deleted; everyone else still sees them;
- direct messages stop in both directions. The blocked person only sees a neutral notice that they can’t message you, and is not told why.
You can unblock someone at any time under Profil → Blockierte Personen.
Moderation, consequences and complaints
Kristina moderates the course chats and can delete any message in a group chat. If someone breaks these rules, she can delete their messages and, for serious or repeated breaches, remove their access to the course, which also removes them from its chat. Where the law requires it, illegal content is reported to the competent authorities.
Kristina cannot be blocked or reported in the app, because she runs the course and handles reports. If you have a complaint about the course, about Kristina or about how a report was handled, write to support@wondergerman.co.
Your content and the course materials
What you post remains yours. By posting it, you allow it to be shown to the people with access to that chat for as long as it stays there. Only post content you have the right to share.
Lessons, exercises, videos and audio in the app are protected by copyright, including materials licensed from publishers. They are for your personal learning only; please don’t copy, record or share them outside the app.
Ending your use
You can delete your account at any time, in the app or by email; see Delete account. Kristina can end an account’s access in case of serious breaches of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the app changes. If a change is significant, we will tell you in the app, and you may be asked to accept the new version before you post again.
Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever mandatory law provides for liability. For slight negligence, we are liable only for breaches of essential contractual obligations, limited to the damage that is typical and foreseeable for this kind of contract.
We work to keep the app available at all times, but short interruptions, for example for maintenance or updates, cannot always be avoided.
Applicable law
These terms are governed by the law of Bosnia and Herzegovina. If you use the app as a consumer in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.
Consumer disputes
We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a complaint, please write to us at support@wondergerman.co, and we will look for a solution together with you.
